There is difference between LED VS LCD in the term of longevity. LED technology is still relatively new. In fact, until about 4 years ago, LED were merely in the concept stages. However, LED lights have historically lasted for a long time. Whereas fluorescent lights on an LCD TV cause color blurring and white spots over time. So LED is more durable than LCD TV. Someone who wants a longer lasting TV will probably love an LED TV because it wins the debate between LED vs LCD. So why don’t you buy a LED TV if you are in a fix, because it is long lasting.
